Terms and conditions of registration and participation
TU4YOU is a platform provided by TU Darmstadt that allows you to register for courses, seminars, workshops, and training sessions offered by central services, departments, and other organisational units of TU Darmstadt.
The Skills Portal is a course registration system and part of the TU4YOU-platform. It provides access to course offers related to key skills and competencies.
The central services, departments and other organisational units of TU Darmstadt offer these courses free of charge. There is no course fee for these courses; hence, a price of €0.00 will be displayed. Registering online for a free course is possible via the shopping cart only.
The courses on the Skills Portal are primarily aimed at members of TU Darmstadt.
To be able to register for courses, you need to create a user account on the Skills Portal first. To do so, please use your TU ID as students, vocational trainees, or employees of TU Darmstadt. In some cases, courses are also open to interested parties who are neither members nor associates of TU Darmstadt. External interested parties need to create a guest account using their e-mail address first to be able to register for courses that are open to guests.
You need to be logged in to the Skills Portal to access the course offers available for registration. Therefore, please check regularly whether your course registrations and withdrawals have been recorded correctly. If there are any discrepancies, please contact us immediately at tu4you@tu-darmstadt.de.
The central services, departments and other organisational units reserve the right to cancel a course if the number of registrations does not reach the minimum number of participants or if other important reasons require it. This does not give rise to any claims for damages.
The central services, departments, and other organisational units of TU Darmstadt, and the course instructors will solely use the personal data processed here for administrative purposes to keep track of the user accounts created, course registrations, and course participations. Personal data will not be used for any other purposes or be passed on to third parties. To protect your data, technical and organisational measures have been taken that are state of the art, such as encrypted data transmission. You can help to protect your personal data by preventing misuse of your log-in data such as username and password, and unauthorised access to your personal data.
For more information on the personal data collected, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
By registering for a course via the Skills Portal, you accept the terms and conditions of registration and participation stated above.
